I.B. Tauris and the LSE Middle East Centre have launched a new publications series devoted to Kurdish studies. The salience of Kurdish political, social, economic and cultural developments for the Middle East and for wider geopolitics is being increasingly reflected in the upsurge of research in this area. The series will harness this momentum and encourage further innovative and accessible research which will contribute to scholarly and public understanding. The Kurdish Studies Series promotes and disseminates outstanding research on a wide range of themes from different disciplinary perspectives on Kurds including history, political movements, social dynamics, gender, political representation, displacement, governance, nationalism, political economy, international relations, security, religion and literature. The series is published in collaboration with the Kurdish Studies Series at the Middle East Centre, London School of Economics, which brings together scholars, students and practitioners and encourages public dissemination and discussion of new research on Kurdish politics and society. Public events are held regularly throughout the year.
