I was born and raised in Queensbridge projects in New York. I am the son of two parents who worked very hard to care for their three children. I am the spouse of a wonderful woman who is on this journey with me. I am father to three energetic and inquisitive boys. I was raised in a Pentecostal household, gone through the crisis of divorce, which helped me navigate to where I am now, navigating in the interstices of philosophy, religion, epistemology and aesthetics. Within the space of philosophy, I am intrigued by how we attain knowledge, which is why aesthetics is an important component. The imagination, the space where the structuring of oneiric synthetic image arises, does not come from the critical engagement of theological issues, but rather its engagement with the spiritual, sociological, ecological, spaces in both the actual and internal aspects of the self and world; in other words, the imagination structures as it hovers between the two. The imagination, in turn is the way the self relates both, to explore its possibilities.
