Muldoon is an Assistant Professor of Sustainable Tourism & Society at the University of Groningen's Campus Frysl'n in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands, where she teaches courses in tourism, culture, and planning, gendered geographies, and arts-based methodologies for decolonizing research. Her research interests include the intersections of tourism and poverty, decolonization, feminisms, digital discourses, representations of Indigeneity, and arts-based methodologies. Bryan S. R. Grimwood is a Professor in the Department of Recreation and leisure studies at the University of Waterloo, Canada. His research examines ethical and political dimensions of tourism, leisure, and cultural livelihoods.
