Louise Dalingwater has published 10 edited or co-edited volumes and is currently co-editing two other special issues. Liana Winett is Associate Professor at the Oregon Health & Science University-Portland State University School of Public Health (USA). She explores how communities and societies discuss the complex and controversial problems that affect the public's health, and how framing of these problems can help support broad public participation in these important debates. She has explored, among other topics, issue framing of U.S. federal school foods policy; child healthy weight; early childhood care and education; interpersonal violence; the developmental origins of health and disease (DOHaD); cancer; the U.S. public health response to bioterrorism; COVID-19; and most recently policy discourse around menstruation and menopause. Dr.


Winett teaches courses in media advocacy, risk and crisis communication, and mass media strategy.
