Bernd Kannowski is chair for legal history and civil law at the University of Bayreuth (Germany), where he is member of the Cluster of Excellence "Africa Multiple". Richard Frimpong Oppong is a Professor of Law at Osgoode Hall Law School, York University, Canada. His areas of research interest include conflict of laws and regional economic integration in Africa.
