Major General William S. (Bill) Chen, U.S. Army, Retired, earned bachelor's and master's degrees in engineering from the University of Michigan, where he is recognized as a Distinguished Alumnus in Aerospace Engineering, and an MBA from Auburn University. He retired after a 32-year Army career as Commanding General of the U.S. Army Missile Command and Program Executive Officer for Missile Defense. He then spent 18 years as a defense industry executive leading the development and management of advanced armaments and combat vehicle systems.

Drawing on five decades of leadership in government and industry, Chen brings a unique perspective to leadership in weapons systems development and program management, as well as in complex, high-stakes organizations.
